A PRAYER OF HOPE
(After Matthew 6.9-13)
Divine Hope, within yet beyond me,
how precious you are.
Your resilience will become clear and overcome all despair.
Just enough knowledge of You to get by, step by step, will be sufficient.
Put beyond me all self doubt,
and help me see that others are fearful and insecure too.
Help me to not lose sight of your presence in my being,
so that the challenges of life will no longer be insurmountable.
